Garden of Eden;
is a walking route set in the lush, green Knysna indigenous forest.
The trail is easily marked on the side of the N2. The route is a short board walk through the forest in a circular shape. The major attraction is the forest itself; absolutely beautiful yellow wood trees, thick green foliage and streams.The garden itself comprises smaller trails, so it's up to you if you wish to do the short walking trail, or meander off to explore further. There is also a 800 m board walk suitable for wheelchairs.

Harkerville Saturday Market;
is rural and rustic, but vibey and vital - not a flea market, not just a craft market, not only a farmers' market - but definitely all you could ever hope for in a typical South African Saturday Market ~ deep in the heart of the Garden Route, midway between Plettenberg Bay & Knysna on the N2.

Kranshoek Trail;
One of the most beautiful spots on the southern Cape coast. Kranshoek offers the visitor cliff-top views of the coast and a warm, sheltered picnic site. There is even a stream, with frogs, for the children to play in.

Harkerville MTB Trails;
These routes offer some of the finest mountain-biking in South Africa. There are three route-marked tracks, colour coded Red (23 km), Green (15 km) and Blue (12 km). All three include sections of "off-road" riding along forest paths. The Red route includes some of the most dramatic scenery in the country.

Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours;
takes place in the magnificent Tsitsikamma indigenous rainforest. Many of the platforms are built around giant Outeniqua Yellowwood trees that are up to 700 years old! Standing within the crown of these giants and looking down at the lush forest floor thirty metres below is an experience of a lifetime.
The scenery and birdlife is spectacular and professional guides ensure your safety while keeping you informed about interesting features of the forest ecology. If you are fortunate enough, you will spot a pair of Knysna Loeries or the brilliant red plumage of the elusive Narina Trogon.
